By Mrs Minecraft
Welcome to the World of Minecraft Podcast, where we step inside the blocky worlds our students love and discover the powerful stories behind them. The special guests of all our podcasts are the real experts; the children themselves.
Many of our students are neurodivergent learners who have found in Minecraft a place where they can explore, create, communicate, and grow in ways that feel safe and meaningful to them.

For many parents, Minecraft can look like “just a game.” But behind the screen is something much more powerful.
Through these conversations, our students will
share how Minecraft helps them build confidence,
friendships, problem-solving skills, creativity, and
resilience.
Our goal is to help parents better understand the
worlds their children love and to break down some
of the barriers and misconceptions around gaming, neurodiversity, and learning.
You’ll hear honest, funny, insightful conversations about what Minecraft means to our students, how it supports their wellbeing and personal growth, and why this digital world can be such an important part of their learning journey.

OUR EPISODES
You’ll quickly notice that our podcasts aren’t polished or designed to feel heavily marketed. Instead, they are authentic recordings of honest, raw conversations with children, who are our students.
World of Minecraft is an award-winning, inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities and needs. Many of our students have a range of diagnoses, and by using Minecraft as our key learning tool combined with a specialised learning program, we are able to successfully support each and every child. Some of our podcasts are slow. Others are fast. Some even reveal the anxiety felt by students who are bravely stepping outside their comfort zone to participate in a podcast for the very first time.
But that’s exactly why these conversations matter.
Through this podcast series, parents will hear directly from the children themselves and discover how Minecraft supports their learning, confidence, friendships, creativity and wellbeing. You will also see how it brings together a truly special community where everyone is different, yet everyone belongs.
Episode 3. Sam Age 10
In this episode of Minecast: The Kids Minecraft Podcast, we meet Sam (age 10), a long-term World of Minecraft student who has been part of our programs for the past 3 years. Although Sam is naturally very shy, he challenged himself to step outside his comfort zone and participate in the podcast — a huge achievement in itself.
During the episode, Sam shares his two biggest passions: Pokémon and Minecraft. He talks about how he combines both interests by building Pokémon characters inside Minecraft, and explains why he especially enjoys playing in survival mode.
Sam also takes on the role of teacher, showing Mrs Minecraft how to make different things in Minecraft and sharing some of his favourite crafting recipes along the way.
This episode is a wonderful example of how Minecraft can help children build confidence, express their interests, and try new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Episode 2. Jehan Age 12
In this episode of Minecast: The Kids Minecraft Podcast, we sit down with Jehan (age 12) — one of our original World of Minecraft students! From the very beginning, Jehan’s energy, excitement, and passion for Minecraft shines through.
Having played Minecraft since he was just 4 years old and been part of our programs for over 5 years, Jehan shares what keeps him coming back. He talks about his love for survival and PvP gameplay, and gives great insight into what makes Minecraft so engaging for him and his friends.
Jehan also shares what he wishes parents understood about Minecraft, offering a valuable perspective straight from a young, experienced player. In a fun twist, he even turns the tables and interviews Mrs Minecraft, bringing his confidence and personality to the forefront.
This episode is full of enthusiasm, experience, and student voice, highlighting the powerful connection children can have with Minecraft.
In our first episode of Minecast, we chat with our long-term student Lewis (age 7) about his Minecraft journey. Although Lewis begins the podcast quite shy, his confidence grows as the conversation continues, showing how comfortable he feels sharing something he loves.
Lewis has been playing Minecraft for two years and talks about what he enjoys most about the game, including building, collaborating with other players, and even playing with his parents. He explains how he first started playing at home before joining World of Minecraft to connect with other children through Minecraft Club Online and Minecraft Camps.
During the episode, Lewis shares his favourite device to play on (Xbox), gives advice to beginners, and talks about how players can keep Minecraft a safe and positive learning environment. He also teaches Mrs Minecraft a few survival tips and tells us about his favourite Minecraft server and YouTuber.
